Haryana Special Education Teacher Vacancy 2026: The Government of Haryana has taken a significant decision to enhance the education of children with disabilities. The Haryana government has approved the creation of 1,093 posts for 'Special Education Teachers' to cater to children with special needs studying in government schools.

According to media reports, approximately 12,827 students with disabilities are currently enrolled in government schools across Haryana, ranging from Class 1 to Class 8.

This recruitment process is being initiated specifically to provide enhanced educational support to these students.

Out of the total 1,093 posts approved by the government, 713 posts have been allocated for the primary level—specifically for Classes 1 through 5—

while 380 posts have been designated for Classes 6 through 8.
